Kiss Me You Fool the Year's Best Actors in 9 Intimate Kisses ...

Vanessa Dec 14, 2014

According to the New York Times, "movies have definitely helped make [kisses] more essential." In their latest video series, NYT paired 18 of the year's best actors to star in The Great Performers Issue: Kiss Me, You Fool. The 9-minute video is comprised of nine different mini-movies that follow the pairs' moments before, during, and after their kiss.

There's no talking throughout the film, which makes the pairs' chemistry that much more important. It features the likes of Reese Witherspoon kissing Benedict Cumberbatch in the bushes and Shailene Woodley giving Jack O’Connell a smooch on the cheek!

New York Times Magazine’s “Best of” list also includes Steve Carell, Laura Dern, Jenny Slate, Rosario Dawson, Patricia Arquette, Jason Schwartzman, David Oyelowo, Timothy Spall, John Lithgow, Julianne Moore, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Miles Teller! Watch here:

So sweet, right?! Here's the making of the video:

Which mini-film did you like the most?
