13 Celebrities Who Guest-starred on Law Order ...

Revenge’s Emily VanCamp guest-starred on Law & Order: SVU back in 2007, playing the wild daughter of a mob lawyer. You can watch her in season 8, episode 14, "Dependent"! She's just one of many celebrities who guest-starred on Law & Order.

The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder made an appearance in Law & Order: SVU season 4, episode 20, about a killing spree that was targeted at couples.

Another TVD actor?! Paul guest-starred on SVU's first episode of season two back in 2000. He played a character that was burned to death - yikes!

Just before making a name on The Office, John guest-starred on Criminal Intent, season 3, episode 11.

James has actually guest-starred on the show twice! He appeared in the SVU episode "Father Dearest," where things get, well, complicated. He also appeared on Criminal Intent's episode 8 of season 10, "To the Boy in the Blue Knit Cap."

Claire Danes might be a big superstar now, but it all started on Law & Order! She made her acting debut in episode 1 of season 3, back in 1992. She played Tracy, a teenage girl involved with her mother’s pimp.

Shortly after her role in 2004's Mean Girls, Amanda landed a guest-starring role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She played a character who was trying to cover up the fact that she was raped by her stepdad's boss to protect her stepfather’s job.

Before she was taking over the Upper East Side in Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester guest starred on an episode of Law & Order! She was 12 years old and played a rebellious teen who was killed during a religious ritual. The episode, "Disciple," was the 15th episode of season 9.

In 1996, Ellen Pompeo (Dr. Meredith Grey) and Kim Raver (Dr. Teddy Altman) both guest starred, but in different episodes. Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres) appeared twice on SVU between 2000-2002 and Sarah Drew guest-starred in the 2007 SVU episode, "Responsible."

Jennifer Love Hewitt dominated TV screens in Ghost Whisperer - one of my favorite shows of all time - but after it was canceled in 2010, J.Love took her talents to an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She played a rape victim who was afraid to leave the house. The episode, titled "Behave," was the third episode to air in season 12.
