If what you see is what you believe, then Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are possibly more than just friends.

Fresh off the marriage cart, the duo were spotted dining at Bess Bistro in Austin, TX on New Year's Eve. A very excited patron at the restaurant later tweeted, "My hubby and I had a great time last night, icing on the cake was getting to share the dance floor with Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds!!"

"They sat next to each other and were holding hands at one point", a source tells E! News "They were very cute together".

After bringing in the new year at Sandra's restaurant, the duo departed from there at 2 am to head back to Sandra's place in Austin.

Apparently, Ryan is leaning on Sandra to help get through his split with Scarlett Johansson.

"They talk on the phone and she counsels him", E! reports a source. "She can relate to what he's going through since the whole thing with Jesse [James] and her divorce. She invited him to come down to Texas for New Year's."

Sandra's rep came out with the official version saying, "A group of old friends that included Ryan and Sandra spent New Year's together at her restaurant Bess Bistro. They all had a great time ringing in the New Year as they have in the past and are nothing more than friends."

Personally, I think Scarlett suited Ryan better, but then again the chemistry that Sandra and Ryan shared in The Proposal was too cute!
