One of the facts about Caitriona Balfe that you probably want to know is how she gets such great skin. Caitriona Balfe definitely has the most luminous and flawless skin. You probably are not surprised to find that the Irish actress was cited in People’s Most Beautiful issue.
While the magazine lists Hollywood star Julia Roberts in the top spot, Caitriona gets a special mention for her jaw-dropping fair complexion. As seen in the photo below, she unveils her top skin care tip, which is making sure she never sleeps with a face full of makeup.
“I’m quite proud to say that I haven’t gone to sleep with my makeup on since I was a teenager,” the actress told People.

Balfe as a Victoria’s Secret Angel
Who would have thought that Caitriona once became a Victoria’s Secret Angel? In 2002, the model was cast in Victoria’s Secret runway show alongside legendary stars like Alessandra Ambrosio and Lindsey Frimodt. While we are more used to watching Caitriona looking like a classic and demure woman, the snap certainly shows that she can set the stage on fire.
The road to Angeldom was not as easy a route as she made it look. She said that she needed multiple bronzing sprays to bring her up to the tanned standards of VS. In 2016, she revealed to Conan O’Brien, “I was the whitest girl on stage. I’d gone and gotten a spray tan, and they were like, can you get another one? And then I came back with my second spray tan, and I was still the whitest girl on the stage.”

The actress is capable of speaking three different languages. Not-so-surprisingly, Caitriona can fluently speak English. Since she is from Ireland, it is no surprise to learn that speaks Gaelic with remarkable fluency. And lastly, she is adept in speaking French on a conversational level.

Balfe Has Caitriots Nation
If her co-star Sam Heughan has the Heughligans, Caitriona has also the Caitriots. In an interview with Vulture, the actress was amazed at the creativity and imagination of her dedicated fans.
“I got, I don’t know how many pages there are, 15 to 20 pages of printouts of all these greetings and well-wishes from the Caitriots,” she said. Caitriona further stated that these groups are selling TV shorts and donating to several charities that she supports.
