7 Reasons to Love Lauren Conrad ...

Lauren Conrad released her first novel, "L.A. Candy," in 2009, which she said was inspired by her personal life. The book was one of a trilogy series about a young woman who moves to Hollywood, works at an events company, and eventually gets her own reality show. The novel became a New York Times bestseller and the rights for the trilogy were recently purchased to turn the series into a movie with Conrad serving as an executive producer. I guess we should add being a big time Hollywood producer to this list of reasons to love Lauren Conrad, too! The book is a young-adult novel but it is a great girly novel that gives us all a first hand perspective of the life of a reality TV starlet.

She has step by step picture directions or video tutorials for everything, from cooking recipes to decorating. You can find enough fun and low cost projects to do on her site alone that you wouldn't even need to use Pinterest! Now that is saying a lot!

If you haven't seen it already, Lauren Conrad has her own clothing line that is sold in Kohl's stores. When I was younger, I was obsessed with Laguna Beach and The Hills because I personally connected with Lauren Conrad on the show. She was the pretty quiet girl, with lots of friends, chasing the boy who liked the hot bitchy girl. You were always rooting for Lauren to come out on top because she was such a sincere and nice girl on the show. Most girls out there connected with her over the other characters because of this.
