Celebrities Share Makeup-free Selfies for New UNICEF Campaign ...

UNICEF has launched the #WakeUpCall campaign to support Syrian children in need. Celebrities have been contributing morning selfies to the campaign which lends support and awareness to children who have been displaced by the civil war in Syria. Here's a look at some of the celebs who have done the #WakeUpCall challenge:

1. Cindy Crawford

Cindy Crawford Cindy shared this bare-face selfie on Twitter and nominated fellow model Christy Turlington, makeup guru Sonia Kashuk and Violet Grey founder, Cassandra Grey to contribute next.

2. Lisa Rinna

Lisa Rinna The 51-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress posted a makeup-free selfie on her Instagram account with the caption, "I woke up like this' #UNICEF #WakeUpCall."

3. Rosie Huntington-whiteley

Rosie Huntington-whiteley Rosie shared her photo on Instagram with the caption, "My #wakeupcall for @unicef_uk @unicef Text SYRIA to 70007 give £5 (UK) or visit wakeupcall.org. I nominate @catdeeley @gregjames17 @poppydelevingne."

4. Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick Anna shared this photo via Twitter and wrote, "#WAKEUPCALL Support #ChildrenofSyria thru @UNICEFUSA. I nominate @RebelWilson @joshgroban"

As good as this awareness is we need the muslim ummah to wake up and make a change, sending selfies and money as great as that is regarding awareness and giving charity it's also not the solution, we aren't in control of the outcome but we have to take necessary action :)

May God help the ppl of Syria & Palestine. Truly heart breaking.
