Cook's Love for Mother Earth Revealed...

David Cook loves the environment and he knows how to keep it clean.

Speaking to E! News, Cook revealed that he is a 'recycling nut' and that he barely has to throw anything.

"I'm a recycling nut," the American Idol winner from Season 7 said. "I don't think I have trash cans anymore—just recycling bins.

"I try to be as green as possible across the board, but especially with recycling in my house," he continued. "Paper, plastic, magazines—I recycle everything."

The green star recently revealed his plans for his second album which should hit the shelves on June 28.
