She's 'Real'

First up on our list of reasons we want to be BFF with Jennifer Lawrence is the most obvious one, she's 'real.' True, it's not fun to have a friend that's a complainer, but Jennifer complains about things that SHOULD be complained about. For example, she has constantly been quoted in hating her fancy premiere wardrobes because they aren't comfortable. She also complains that she's starving because she is on a diet to look good for a role. It shows that she's 'real' and doesn't try to put on a show for everyone like she enjoys all of the negative aspects of her job. It also reminds us that she is just a normal girl, like all of us, thrown into a surreal world.

2

She's Totally Weird

Have you seen some of her funny facial expressions during the Oscars when the camera panned to her? Or when she said "Does a bear shit in the woods?" live on network TV while talking about "Dance Moms"? Jennifer is totally weird and we love her for it! Too often do we see starlets trying to be their idea of perfect that it's refreshing to see someone who's so open and quirky. This is also what makes her so "gif-able"!

3

She Played Katniss & Mystique!

Jennifer Lawrence has played two of the biggest bad-ass female characters around! Mystique from X-Men: First Class didn't take crap from anyone and loved herself even with her blue appearance and Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games was the most independent female character I've ever seen. If Jennifer Lawrence can portray these two characters flawlessly, then she must have those qualities underneath her acting skills as well.

4

She Makes You Laugh

Once, at a red carpet event, Jennifer went up to Josh Hutcherson while he was being interviewed and said, "Is your rash doing okay?" She likes to make jokes and is quoted as saying some pretty witty things. Why wouldn't you want a BFF who makes you laugh all the time? Well, I guess it depends on if you have a good sense of humor.

5

She Crashed Her Car for Honey Boo-Boo

On "The Tonight Show," Jennifer admitted to crashing her car once because she thought she saw a Honey Boo-Boo parade. It was actually a breast cancer parade but Lawrence had misread "Boobs" on the sashes of the parade participants. "I started craning my neck, and then I saw a little girl, and I was like, 'Oh, that's Honey Boo-Boo,' and I'm still driving, and then I rear-ended the person in front of me."

She's Modest

Even with all the fame and awards, Jennifer seems to be one of the most modest celebrities out there. She was quoted as saying, "I'm so aware of all the B.S. that surrounds Hollywood and how everyone gets on this high horse and thinks that they're curing cancer, and it makes me so uncomfortable every time I see it." She's also said she feels out of place at Hollywood parties. Modesty is the perfect quality for a friend, who wants to hang out with someone who's all about themselves?

7

She Sets Friends up with Bradley Cooper

Allegedly, Jennifer Lawrence tried to set Bradley Cooper up with some of her friends. That ALONE would be enough for any girl to want to be Jennifer's friend. But on top of that, only Jennifer Lawrence would be cool enough to not be interested in the amazingly handsome Bradley Cooper and be generous enough to set her friends up with him!

Jennifer will be hitting the big screen again soon with a new X-Men movie and the second installment of The Hunger Games series! Jennifer is sure to be in the spotlight for a long time so let's hope she doesn't change too much because we love her just the way she is! Do you love Jennifer Lawrence as much as we do? If not, why bugs you about her?

I love Jennifer, we have such similar qualities... I wish I could meet her :(

Omg Jennifer Lawrence is my idol! She's beautiful in every way! So down-to-earth!!

Down to earth, talented, hilarious!

I love her She is so real and hilarious

I really want have her as a friend

@phoebe Oh dear God, it's because of people taking things way out of context that makes small comments like the one she made on ellen look like a horrible insult of some sort. People seriously need to learn how to take things with a grain of salt and less seriously- of all people Jennifer Lawrence and Ellen would be some of the LAST people to insult someone, particularly transgenders. It's a funny, humorous, HARMLESS nickname(she gave to her CAT) if people can't understand that then they seriously need to get a life and get out more, not to mention they need to stop jumping to these idiotic conclusions. I guarantee you half the people angry about this aren't even transgenders, they assume the role of "do-gooders" and it's people like that that need to keep their mouths shut. And the fact she's uneducated about mental disorders is only showing to bigger problem society has, that makes people uneducated about this issues. It's not only her fault, and probably lots of people are unaware about the seriousness of the subject. But she's famous so obviously she should me the one getting all the rage about this. Also, she's bigger than a lot of other celebs, and her body resembles more common bodies that everyday women have. The fact that its still a thin body doesn't make her the devil. Also, once again, only shows you society is messed up, not Jennifer Lawrence.

@phoebe You should know that JLaw has a longtime friend who has Down Syndrome and also stood up for him in middle school. Last time I checked, Down syndrome is a disorder. You can leave now.

God, I just love her! You should seriously make a list on why NOT to bang her xD

yeah there were also those hilarious times when she was openly awful about transgender people and misappropriated mental disorders to their sufferer's face, dismissing obsessive compulsive disorder as quirky and funny! I just love how she refuses to apologise for her size four body or her Caucasian and conventionally attractive face!
