Most fashionistas would give an arm and a leg to make it on the annual list by Harper's Bazaar of the Best Dressed Women. The irony of this year's list lies right at the top.
Carey Mulligan, the self proclaimed fashion recluse made it to the top of the list, beating the more prominent fashion divas Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss. The magazine claims that Mulligan has "retro-modern look" that appealed to their fashion palate. Fashion designer Erdem Moralioglu and member of the judging panel described Carey’s style ‘sixties French New Wave’.
Carey recently said: "I don't really care that much about fashion, I just have a brilliant stylist who dresses me, and in my own life, I'm pretty simple".
