Miley Sorry for Not Being a Better Role Model...

The one thing that most Disney stars learn is how to win back their fans after screwing up (ALL of them screw up!). Miley Cyrus is no different and in fact she seems to be doing a pretty good job of it too.

In her interview with Marie Claire, Miley faces questions about her salvia incident head on.

"I'm not perfect...I made a mistake...I'm disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans," Miley tells the magazine.

Refreshingly enough, Miley does not use any excuses for her slip-up like most starlets who've strayed down the wrong path. In fact even on being asked a follow up question, she does not resort to her parents' divorce or her age as an out.

"But do you really think it was a mistake? Obviously college kids your age all over America are smoking bongs with a lot more than salvia in them," asks the interviewer.

"They're not Miley Cyrus," the not-so-proud star replies. "They're not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for."

Though owning up to the incident and apologizing for it does not make up for her general behaviour over the past year (smoking, drinking in Spain to name a few), it definitely is a start!
