Riley: it's nice to promote the whole natural thing, but you can't shame women who "show off their naked bodies." that's not something that people do so that they can be judged badly. people show off their bodies as a display of confidence and when you shame them for it all it's going to do is make them 100 times more self-conscious.

GoffDesigns: When I DON'T wear foundation (or CC Cream or Mineral Powder -- whatever I'm in the mood for) I GET breakouts! When you use high-quality foundation and prep your face, it's protecting your skin. If you can buy it in Walmart, it's garbage. Makeup on a woman does not equal an un-confident woman. Not in any way! Sure, when I was a teen it was for total lack of self-confidence and it made me feel more beautiful. As a woman with three kids, makeup is my "I give a shit today!"-face. Everyone wears makeup for different reasons, just like bare-facing it is for different reasons. To say anything else is voicing an opinion, not a fact
Makeupobsessed: I used to think the same thing. Then I stopped wearing makeup while on holidays and my acne cleared up a lot. I no longer wear foundation. I wear minimal concealer and a skin time balancing powder. My acne hasn't been this clear in years
