There are so many celebs who'd make great singers. I think it's so cool and inspiring to see these people have so many different talents! Even though many of these celebs would never leave acting for singing, they all have beautiful voices. I've been a fan of Amanda's voice for SO long! She's shown off her vocals in movies like Mamma Mia, Red Riding Hood, Dear John, and Les Miserables. She's got such an angelic voice that I could listen to it all day long! Even though she's incredibly talented, Amanda hasn't really considered going into a full-blown music career. That bums me out because I'd definitely buy her albums! She's just one of many celebs who'd make great singers.
It's no surprise that Anna Kendrick made this list. After her role in Pitch Perfect, the "Cups" song went viral and she began hearing her voice being played everywhere! What a lot of people don't know is that Anna was belting out songs on Broadway way before she was battling with the Barden Bellas. You can expect to hear her sing in her new movie, Into the Woods!
Scarlett has such a bluesy and soulful voice. Did you know that she's already released two albums? "Break Up" and "Anywhere I Lay My Head" are both available on iTunes if you want to check them out. Even though she wouldn't quit acting for music, I think she's an incredibly talented singer. I love her song "Relator" with Pete Yorn!
Swoon! Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a natural when it comes to singing. I mean, he even performs Nirvana covers. How awesome is that?! When he's not posting these covers, he's usually singing with New Girl's Zooey Deschanel. The two best friends have numerous (insanely adorable) videos singing together. I love hearing Kristen perform live. I think it's so cute to picture her as Frozen's Princess Ana and it's incredible that she sounds exactly like the studio version! Kristen's belted out her voice in other roles but acting's always been her number one love. I wonder if she, like everyone else, had sing-along sessions at home when Frozen came out!
This funny gal can do it all. In Easy A, Emma wasn't lip synching her "Knock On Wood" performance - that's her actual voice! She admitted it felt a little weird to record it in the studio, so I don't think she'll be releasing any solo music anytime soon. But, she does sound pretty great in this clip!
Anyone else obsessed with Gwyneth's performance in Country Strong? It's one of my all-time favorite movies! Gwyneth's got a beautiful voice and she shared her vocals on Glee a few times. It makes me wonder if Gwyneth and her ex-husband, Chris Martin, had any jam sessions together!
